Every quarter, we honor team members who go above and beyond in their role each day. These exceptional individuals represent our values and work hard to make Wingstop great. Todd Brin, senior director of construction, was recently named Team Member of the Quarter for Q1 2021 and continues to prove why he’s an invaluable asset for the company.
We sat down with Todd to ask a few questions about his experience at Wingstop.
What attracted you to Wingstop when you first started?
When I started my career at Wingstop over 19 years ago in 2002, the brand was just really starting to take flight. I was immediately drawn to the simplicity of the brand and its intent focus on quality and flavor. This still holds true today and I am very humbled to be a part of our amazing story, and history!
What does being TMOQ mean to you?
Personally, it is very gratifying to be acknowledged for my individual effort. However as a people leader, the credit ALL goes to my amazing team! I feel extremely honored and blessed to be recognized and am now really considering my own team member of the day program so everyone can feel appreciated and recognized for their hard work daily.
What do you believe has made you successful in your career?
Self-confidence and empowerment.
How do you Serve the World Flavor in your role?
Literally speaking, our flavor needs a house and I love to build houses (restaurants)! From a people aspect, flavor is all about relationships and serving others. I believe we are put on his earth to make a difference and that is what I strive to do every day.
What do you attribute as your most valuable accomplishment at Wingstop?
Having been with the company for almost 20 years, I’m extremely proud of creating the building blocks of our core restaurant design and establishing of all our new restaurant opening processes and team building.
Lastly, what is your favorite sauce flavor?
Lemon Pepper – although I do love me some Hot Lemon as well!
