We are thrilled to welcome Levi Metten to our 2021 Pilot Internship Program this summer! Levi is interning on the strategy team and will gain experience across all facets of the Wingstop business during his time with us.

Tell us about yourself!

I graduated high school from Prestonwood Christian Academy. I currently attend Oklahoma State University and sit on the executive council of my fraternity, and love to play intramural soccer and softball. Some of my favorite hobbies are hunting and fishing and I’m a huge hockey fan (Go Stars). I have one brother who graduated from Oklahoma State and is now working in Dallas at a commercial real estate firm. I have formerly worked at a few golf courses in the DFW area as well as two different Wingstop restaurants!

Why did you want to intern at Wingstop?

I wanted to intern at Wingstop because I’ve worked in the restaurant before and then went off to college to major in business. I wanted to intern here to see the business side of how Wingstop operates.

What are you most excited about during your internship?

I think what I am most excited about for this internship is gaining the understanding of how a business grows and develops. Wingstop is a big company now but they are still looking at ways to grow the market and I am very interested in seeing some of the strategies and techniques on how they do that.

What do you hope to gain from this experience?

I hope to gain a vast understanding of how a corporate office works as well as the side of Wingstop that you wouldn’t be able to see as a guest.

What’s your go-to Wingstop order?

A 6-piece boneless combo half Louisiana Rub and half Spicy Korean Q.
