After a fire ravaged the home and all belongings of the Walters family in Midland, Texas, Wingstop GMs Tiffany and Corina Calderon rallied the community to raise more than $2,500 to help a family in need.

Although Tiffany and Corina knew they couldn’t pull much from their savings, they also knew the power of their community and immediately turned to local Wingstop brand partner Dora Braun. Known for hosting fundraisers in the past, Dora was more than happy to donate her resources; and with her support, the team worked quickly to develop a campaign. On Dec. 11, 15 percent of total sales from both Midland Wingstop locations went toward assisting the Walters family, totaling more than $2,500.

In addition, the community held several donation drives and even started a Facebook fundraiser.
