Wingstop Charities Provides Meals During Pandemic

For 25 years Wingstop has been serving local communities. We are committed to strengthening the neighborhoods that we serve by being strong, active, corporate citizens and good neighbors. Wingstop Charities is dedicated to enhancing and elevating the community work of our brand partners (franchisees) to make a difference in the lives of our youth.

With the COVID-19 pandemic, many school districts across the nation have either started teaching students online or closed, which has caused difficulties for families who depend on school lunches to feed their children during the week. To combat this problem, Wingstop Charities gave four separate $10,000 donations to food banks in Chicago, Las Vegas, Philadelphia and South Texas. Each donation will provide approximately 20,000 (80,000 total) meals to kids.

In addition, the Wingstop food truck has been visiting local Dallas hospitals like Baylor Scott & White, Parkland and Scottish Rite. Thus far, we’ve served more than 700 meals (4,000+ wings) to doctors and nurses who are on the front-line saving lives. Wingstop Charities, Wingstop Restaurants Inc. and our brand partners (franchisees) will continue to partner in the coming weeks to serve our community heroes.
