Congratulations to Brian Martinez for earning Wingstop Team Member of the Quarter for Q3! Brian has been a part of the Wingstop team for three years and played a huge role in making the Global Support Center come to life. He embodies the Wingstop Way in everything he does, and we look forward to his continued success!
Q: What attracted you to Wingstop when you first started?
A: Growing up in Mesquite next to Garland where Wingstop was founded, the brand had been a staple in my household my entire life. When the opportunity came to apply, it felt like home and has been ever since.
Q: What does being TMOQ mean to you?
A: It’s an opportunity to serve more. We are constantly emphasizing the experience of everyone who interacts with the brand, which I take as a sign that as a team we’re on the right path.
Q: What do you believe has made you successful in your career?
A: The people. Everyday there are tasks to be completed, projects to update, and meetings to be had, but in between there are laughs to be enjoyed, conversations that leave you walking away with a smile, and funny texts that continue into the weekends. Team members fuel my hunger daily.
Q: How do you Serve the World Flavor in your role?
A: First: Living the Wingstop Way daily is something I believe in some form was instilled in me from my parents my entire life. Second and most importantly: Through every interaction I have with every team or team member on any level. Providing the necessary tools, atmosphere, setting, support or having the ability to make a team members day easier, more efficient, and more successful is my contribution to Serving the World Flavor.
Q: What do you attribute as your most valuable accomplishment at Wingstop?
A: Creating friendships that have led to personal and professional growth. When I joined the brand three years ago, I could have never predicted the amazing people I would have the opportunity to interact with on a daily basis. The amount of drive, hunger, and genuine passion to teach others their craft or areas of expertise has far surpassed any expectations or ask . . . All of which culminated into the Wingstop Global Support Center that I had the privilege helping to bring to life.
Q: Lastly, what is your favorite sauce flavor?
A: Go-to order: 8 piece, all flats, half garlic parmesan, half mild, ranch, extra well done fries, and a sweet tea!
